Modem Access 75CallPilot Mini/CallPilot 150 Installation and Maintenance GuideCreating a Dial-Up Networking connection on Windows 20001 Click the Start button and then click Programs.2 Click Accessories and then click Communications.3 Click Network and Dial-Up Connections.The Network and Dial-Up Connections dialog box appears.4 Click the Make new Connection icon.The Network Connection Wizard appears.5 Select the Dial-up to the Internet option.6 Click the Next button.7 Select the I want to set up my Internet connection manually option.8 Click the Next button.9 Select the I connect through a phone line and a modem option.10 Click the Next button.11 In the Telephone number box, enter a telephone number.It does not matter what telephone number you enter in this box because the number is not usedfor the connection to the CallPilot system.12 Click the Advanced button.13 Click the Address tab.14 Select the Always use the following IP Address option.15 Enter the IP address of CallPilot system, but change the last set of digits to a different number.For example, if the CallPilot IP address is 192.168.0.1, enter 192.168.0.10.16 Click the OK button.17 Click the Next button.18 Leave the user name as Administrator and leave the password box blank.19 Click the Next button.20 Enter a name for this connection.21 Click the Finish button.Note: The IP address you enter here is used to identify your computer during themodem connection. It does not affect the LAN configuration of your computer.
