98 of 202 INM 4.1 New Feature DescriptionINM Broadband Release 4.1 PG OC 98-13 Issue 1.2• AccessNode Express Data Module Remote Login: INM Broadband 4.1provides the user with the capability to perform a remote login to the DataModule from the INM Broadband GUI. This capability allows an INMBroadband user to do a remote reach through to an ethernet port withTelnet capability on the AccessNode Express Data Module providingaccess to its craft interface. The support is provided in the form of a manualand auto-login character based login session.• AccessNode Express Voice Module PC GUI Reach-Through: The INM 3.1which provided Reach-Through capability to an AccessNode ExpressVoice Module from the GNB simply displayed an X-window with a TL-1command line interface to the Voice Module (VM). This release of INMBroadband will introduce the invocation of the PC GUI interface forremote login. This allows an INM Broadband user to invoke a remote loginReach-Through session to the PC GUI application which is executing on aseparate Windows NT Server platform. The PC GUI application willexecute on the NT Server platform with the PC GUI windows applicationdisplay on the GNB/GNE User Interface. Figure 37 on page 99 gives anillustration of a Reach-Through Login to the Voice Module from the INMworkstation.The mechanism will be provided from the INM GNB/GNE Graphical UserInterfaces. The PC GUI Reachthrough must be commissioned and enabledvia the inm_admin script from the “ANX PC GUI ReachthroughConfiguration” option from the Utilities menu option. Once the feature iscommissioned and enabled, the user can activate it in one of three ways:— Selecting the ‘Auto-Login to ’ item from the Login menu.— Selecting the ‘Auto-Login to ’ item from the object menu of theactual NE.— Double-clicking on an ANX VM Network Element.• AccessNode support of connections on the OPC between the STS-1 andthe TIC (Transport Interface Card) for the AccessNode.
