7 Application functions7-92 cm5520Application functions Chapter 77.19 Erasing specified areas of copies (“Frame Erase”function)Copies can be produced by erasing unwanted areas around the document,such as the transmission information on received faxes and the shadows ofpunched holes.With frame erasing, the same width can be erased along all four sides of thedocument or a different width can be erased along each side of the docu-ment.1 Position the document to be copied.– For details on positioning the document, refer to “Feeding the doc-ument” on page 2-8.2 Touch [Application], and then touch [Frame Erase].– To cancel changes to the settings for all Application functions,press the [Reset] key.
