108White lines across the page Make sure that you use paper that meets our specifications. A rough surfacedpaper or thick print media can cause the problem. (See Acceptable paperand other media on page 10.) Make sure that you choose the proper media type in the printer driver or in themachine’s Paper Type menu setting. (See Acceptable paper and othermedia on page 10 and Basic tab in the Software User’s Guide on theCD-ROM.) The problem may disappear by itself. Print multiple pages to clear thisproblem, especially if the machine has not been used for a long time. Clean the scanner window with a soft cloth. (See Cleaning the laserscanner window on page 124.)
