To get started,you need all the items that came in theTreo 680 box (see What’s in the box? ), plusthe following:• A SIM card. If you do not already have aSIM card and your smartphone box didnot contain a SIM card, you need tocontact your wireless service providerto get one. Be sure to sign up for amobile account with data services. Touse your smartphone on your wirelessservice provider’s network, the SIMcard must be inserted into yoursmartphone. Without a SIM card, youcan only make emergency calls, such as112 or 911.• You must be in a location where you arewithin coverage of your wireless serviceprovider’s network.• An electrical outlet• The computer with which you want tosynchronize your personal informationNOTE To use email, web browsing, andmultimedia messaging, your wirelessservice provider plan must include dataservices.
