The sound of the disc rotating may become louder especially when finalizing a DVD-R, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format) or +R.≥Poor reception due to atmospheric condition.≥Image disturbance during search.≥Operations do not work due to a poor-quality disc. (Try again using a Panasonic disc.)≥The unit freezes due to the activation of one of its safety devices. (Press and hold [Í/I] on the main unit for 10 seconds.)∫ CommonNo power ≥Insert the AC mains lead securely into a known active household mains socket. 14The unit switches to the standbymode.≥One of the unit’s safety devices is activated. Press [Í/I] on the main unit to turn the unit on. –The display is dim. ≥Change “FL Display” in the SETUP menu. 42“0:00” is flashing on the unit’sdisplay.≥Set the clock. 46The recording time display, thetransfer (dubbing) processdisplay and the displayedrecording time of MP3 aredifferent from the actual time.≥The time on the unit’s display and the remaining recording time on the screen may beindicated less or more than the actual value.≥The available recording space on DVD-R or +R does not increase when you erase titles.≥Available recording space on a DVD-RW (DVD-Video format) increases only when the lastrecorded title is erased. It does not increase if other titles are erased.≥If you repeat recording or editing about 200 times or more, the remaining capacity of the DVD-R or the +R is reduced and then recording or editing may be disabled.≥The time during fast forward and rewind, or the process during transfer (dub) may not bedisplayed accurately.–––––Compared to the actualrecorded time, the elapsed timedisplayed is less (only whenrecording in NTSC).≥The displayed recording/play time is converted from the number of frames at 29.97 frames(equal to 0.999 seconds) to one second. There will be a slight difference between the timedisplayed and the actual elapsed time (e.g.,actual one-hour elapsed time may display asapproximately 59 minutes 56 seconds). This does not affect the recording.–The tape counter isn’t changing. ≥The tape counter does not change while playing unrecorded parts. The “second” displaychanges as follows:≥The unit’s display also appears like this if the tape is dirty or damaged. Consult your dealer ifthis is the case.––
