151VQT1G66OthersWhen you are not going to use the unit for anextended time.≥ When storing the unit in a cupboard or cabinet,it is recommended that you place a desiccant(silica gel) in with it.The battery used in this unit is a rechargeablelithium-ion battery. It is susceptible to humidityand temperature and the effect increases themore the temperature rises or falls. In cold areas,the full charge indication may not appear or thelow battery indication may appear about5 minutes after starting use. At hightemperatures, the protection function may betriggered, making it impossible to use the unit.Be sure to detach the battery after use.≥ If the battery is left attached, a minute amountof current continues to flow even if the unit’spower is off. Keeping the unit in this state mayresult in over discharge of the battery. Thismay result in you not being able to use thebattery even after it is charged.≥ The battery should be stored in the vinyl bagso metal does not come into contact with theterminals.≥ The battery should be stored in a cool placefree from humidity, with as constanttemperature as possible. In cold places such as a ski resort, theperiod during which you can record pictures isshortened.≥ When you travel, do not forget to bring an ACadaptor so that you can recharge the batteriesat your destination.If you drop the battery accidentally, check tosee if the terminals are damaged.≥ Attaching a battery with damaged terminalscan damage the unit or AC adaptor.Do not throw old battery into fire.≥ Heating a battery or throwing it into a fire mayresult in an explosion.If the operating time is very short even afterthe battery has been recharged, the batteryhas worn out. Please purchase a new battery.≥ If the temperature of the battery is extremelyhigh or extremely low, charging may take timeor the battery may not be charged.≥ If the charging lamp keeps flashing, make surethat the terminals of the battery or the ACadaptor are not exposed to dirt, foreign objectsor dust, then reconnect them properly.Disconnect the AC cable from the AC outletwhen you remove dirt, foreign objects or duston the terminals of the battery or the ACadaptor. If the charging lamp is still flashing,something may be wrong with the battery orAC adaptor. Contact your dealer.≥ If you use the AC adaptor near a radio, radioreception may be disturbed. Keep the ACadaptor 1 m or more away from the radio.≥ When using the AC adaptor, it may generatewhirring sounds. However, this is normal.≥ After use, be sure to disconnect the ACadaptor.
