107VQT0T50When the status indicator flashes atintervals of about 0.5 second (on forabout 0.25 sec. and off for about 0.25sec.):≥ The battery has not been recharged.Remove the battery from the unit, andtry charging it again.≥ The battery temperature or ambienttemperature may be extremely high orlow. Wait until the appropriatetemperature is restored beforecharging the battery again. If thebattery still fails to charge, somethingmay be wrong with the unit, battery, ACadaptor etc. Contact your dealer.When the status indicator is off:≥ Charging is completed.≥ Although charging is completed,trouble may have occurred in the ACadaptor or battery when the statusindicator is off. Contact your dealer.≥ The memory capacityindicated on the label ofan SD Card is the total ofthe capacity for copyrightprotection andmanagement and thecapacity which can beused on the unit, a PC etc.≥ During prolonged use, the unit’ssurfaces and the SD card will heat upslightly: This is normal.When inserting or removing the SDcard, always set the [ON/OFF] switchto [OFF].When the access lamp is illuminated(During access to the SD card), do notopen the card slot cover to pull out theSD card, turn off the power, or causeany vibrations or impacts.Do not leave the SD card in placeswhere there is high temperature ordirect sunlight, or whereelectromagnetic waves or staticelectricity are easily generated.Moreover, do not fold or drop the SDcard, and do not strongly vibrate it.≥ The SD card may break or thecontents of the card may be destroyedor erased.After use, be sure to eject the SD card,and store it away.≥ After use, or when storing or carryingthe SD card, put it in the storage case(supplied).≥ Do not allow dust, water, or foreignsubstances to adhere to the terminalson the back of the SD card. Moreover,do not touch the terminals with yourhand.≥ Keep the SD Memory Card out of reachof children to prevent swallowing.≥ When the LCD monitor gets dirty, wipeit with a dry soft cloth.≥ In a place with drastic temperaturechanges, condensation may form onthe LCD monitor. Wipe it with soft drycloth.≥ When the unit has become very cold,for example due to storage in a coldarea, its LCD monitor will be slightlydarker than usual immediately after thepower is turned on. The normalbrightness will be restored when theunit’s internal temperature rises.About the SD card2LCD monitorExtremely high precision technology isemployed to produce the LCD Monitorscreen featuring a total ofapproximately 210,000 pixels. Theresult is more than 99.99% effectivepixels with a mere 0.01% of the pixelsinactive or always lit. However, this isnot a malfunction and does not affectthe recorded picture.
