This enables picture printing information tobe written onto an SD card so that it can be used on a system supporting DPOF.To print pictures by directly connecting this unit to the printer, use a printer compatiblewith PictBridge. (Read the operating instructions for the printer.)¬ Connect this unit to the AC adaptor.¬ Rotate the mode dial to select .1 Open the terminal cover, then firmlyplug one end of the USB cable 1(supplied) into the unit’s USB terminaland the other end into the terminal onthe printer.Insert the plugs as far as they will go.The images recorded on the SD card aredisplayed as thumbnails.≥ When no SD card is inserted in this unit, the[ ] indication does not appear. (Youcannot print any pictures.)≥ When this unit and the printer are notconnected properly, the [ ] indicationkeeps blinking. (It will blink for overapprox. 1 minute.) Connect the cable or checkthe printer.≥ Do not use any other USB cables except thesupplied one. (Operation is not guaranteedwith any other USB cables.)≥ The DPOF setting can be established for up to 999 scenes.≥ DPOF setting made on another camera may not be recognized by this unit.
