The SciPres™ disposable sensors usedwith the system come pre-calibrated from the factory and require no maintenance. TheTandem™ peristaltic pump head should periodically have tubing debris cleaned from it, butrequires no lubrication.To remove dust, dirt and stains, the outer surfaces of the FilterTec Plus™ may be wiped using asoft, non-fluffing cloth moistened with water. If required, you may also use a mild detergent or 2-propanol.The SciPres™ disposable sensors may be sanitized with 0.1 Molar NaOH, or 2-propanol. Theymay be autoclaved up to twice, and newer units with grey rings around the cable connector maybe gamma irradiated.Introduction:You will find the FilterTec Plus™ System easy to use, and expands on the capabilities of theFilterTec by communicating with up to three scales at once. The state-of-the-art hardware andsoftware design of the FilterTec Plus™ allows you to control measure and document yourfiltration processes.
