If ParkSense® isenabled at one of these shift lever positions, thesystem will remain active until the vehicle speed isincreased to approximately 7 mph (11 km/h) orabove. A display warning will appear in the Elec-tronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) or DriverInformation Display (DID) indicating the vehicle isabove ParkSense® operating speed. The systemwill become active again if the vehicle speed isdecreased to speeds less than approximately6 mph (9 km/h).ParkSense® SensorsThe four ParkSense® sensors, located in therear fascia/bumper, monitor the area behind thevehicle that is within the sensors’ field of view.The sensors can detect obstacles from approxi-mately 18 in (45 cm) up to 79 in (200 cm) fromthe rear fascia/bumper in the horizontal direc-tion, depending on the location, type and orien-tation of the obstacle.The six ParkSense® sensors, located in thefront fascia/bumper, monitor the area in front ofthe vehicle that is within the sensors’ field ofview. The sensors can detect obstacles fromapproximately 12 in (30 cm) up to 47 in (120 cm)from the front fascia/bumper in the horizontaldirection, depending on the location, type andorientation of the obstacle.Locking Hole143
