• Engine Temperature Warning LightThis light warns of an overheated en-gine condition. As temperatures riseand the gauge approaches H, this in-dicator will illuminate and a single chime willsound after reaching a set threshold. Furtheroverheating will cause the temperature gaugeto pass H, a continuous chime will occur untilthe engine is allowed to cool.If the light turns on while driving, safely pull overand stop the vehicle. If the A/C system is on,turn it off. Also, shift the transmission into NEU-TRAL and idle the vehicle. If the temperaturereading does not return to normal, turn theengine off immediately and call for service.Refer to “If Your Engine Overheats” in “What ToDo In Emergencies” for more information.• Electric Power Steering MalfunctionWarning LightThis telltale is on when the ElectricPower Steering is not operatingand needs service.• Trailer Brake Disconnected WarningLightThis telltale is on when the TrailerBrake has been disconnected.DID Yellow TelltalesThis area will show reconfigurable yellow cau-tion telltales. These telltales include:• Low Fuel TelltaleWhen the fuel level reaches approxi-mately 3.0 gal (11.0 L), this light willturn on, and remain on until fuel isadded.• Windshield Washer Fluid Low IndicatorThis telltale will turn on to indicatethe windshield washer fluid is low.• Low Coolant Level IndicatorThis telltale will turn on to indicatethe vehicle coolant level is low.• Transmission Temperature WarningTelltaleThis telltale indicates that thetransmission fluid temperature isrunning hot. This may occur withsevere usage, such as trailer tow-ing. If this telltale turns on, safelypull over and stop the vehicle. Then, shift thetransmission into NEUTRAL and run the engineat idle or faster until the light turns off.CAUTION!Continuous driving with the TransmissionTemperature Warning Light illuminated willeventually cause severe transmission dam-age or transmission failure.186
