Chapter 2 37Using the Remote ControlDeleting ALL Volume Punchthrough CommandsTo delete all programmed Volume Punchthrough settings and return the remote control back tothe factory defaults, press and hold the VOL- button (the component button of the VolumePunchthrough lights). While holding the VOL- button, enter the code, 000, using the numberbuttons. All component buttons turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off. The remote returns tothe factory settings.Note: If an invalid button is pressed, all component buttons blink 4 times and turn off. Atthis point, you must start over.Using the INPUT Button1. Repeatedly press the INPUT button to scroll through the available input sources until youfind the input associated with the component (such as VCR or DVD player) you want toview.2. Once you find the input source you want, stop pressing INPUT.• If you tune to INPUT 1 and your VCR is connected to that input, you will be able toview your VCR. To play, stop, or rewind the VCR tape using the remote that came withyour TV, you must first press the VCR, or AUX button (if AUX is programmed to VCR)to put the remote control in VCR mode.There are other ways of selecting a Video Input Channel:• Program the component (VCR, DVD, etc.) buttons on the remote control to automaticallytune to the correct Video Input Channel when pressed.
