Chapter 6: Virtual KVM Client73Keyboard MenuSend Ctrl+Alt+DeleteDue to its frequent use, a Ctrl+Alt+Delete macro has been pre-programmed into the Virtual KVM Client.This key sequence is sent to the target server to which you are currentlyconnected. In contrast, if you were to physically press theCtrl+Alt+Delete keys while using the Virtual KVM Client, the commandwould first be intercepted by your own PC due to the structure of theoperating system, instead of sending the key sequence to the targetserver as intended.Send Ctrl+Alt+Delete Sends a Ctrl+Alt+Delete key sequence to the target server¾To send a Ctrl+Alt+Delete key sequence to the targetserver:• Select Keyboard > Send Ctrl+Alt+Delete, or• Click the Send Ctrl+Alt+Delete button from toolbarKeyboard MacrosKeyboard macros ensure that keystroke combinations intended for thetarget server, are sent to and interpreted only by the target server.Otherwise, they might be interpreted by the computer on which theVirtual KVM Client is running (your client PC).Macros are stored on the client PC and are PC-specific; therefore, if youuse another PC you will not see your macros. In addition, if anotherperson uses your PC and logs in under a different name, that user willsee your macros since they are computer-wide. Keyboard macros createdin the Virtual KVM Client are available in MPC and vice versa.
