Operation (RMS-EX only)English• Windrows of lighter materials often can be combinedinto one main row or pile for eventual pickup, whileheavy or bulky material may need to be collectedrow-by-row.• To pull debris from corners, reverse sweeper drumrotation by turning the powerhead over (throttlefacing "up") .• Sweeping corners with the RedMax Sweeper upsidedown. (OP9)(1) Direction of rotation• For long-term inverted operation, loosen theadjustment knob to reverse the handle. (OP10)(1) Adjustment KnobReversing the RedMax Sweeper will cause debristo be thrown back toward the operator. Whenreversing the RedMax Sweeper, use lower throttlesettings and beware that thrown debris may alsoaffect your footing!■ OPERATING AND SAFETY TIPS (OP11)Maintain a shallow angle to the work surface!• A high angle of operation tends to propel the broomtoward you, risking loss of control of the machine.(1) Maintain a shallow working angle.(2) A steep working angle risks loss of control!The sweeper belts may rotate when the RedMaxSweeper is started!• Always maintain a firm grip when starting theRedMax Sweeper.
