26• Swipe or slide: Quickly drag your finger vertically orhorizontally across the screen. This allows you to movethe area of focus or to scroll through a list. For example:slide your finger left or right on the Home screen to scrollamong the seven panels.• Drag: Press and hold your finger with some pressurebefore you start to move it. Do not release your finger untilyou have reached the target position.• Rotate: Automatically change the screen orientation fromportrait to landscape by turning the device sideways. Forexample: rotate to landscape orientation when enteringtext, to provide a larger keyboard, or when viewing webcontent to minimize scrolling.• Pinch: “Pinch” the screen using your thumb andforefinger to zoom out when viewing a picture or a Webpage. (Move fingers inward to zoom out.)• Spread: “Spread” the screen using your thumb andforefinger to zoom in when viewing a picture or a Webpage.
