Use SyncThru™ Web Service to:• View the machine’s device information and check its current status.• Change TCP/IP parameters and set up other network parameters.• Change printer preference.• Set the email notifications advising of the machine’s status.• Get support for using the machine.To access SyncThru™ Web Service:1. Access a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, from Windows.Enter the machine IP address (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) in the addressfield and press the Enter key or click Go.2. Your machine’s embedded website opens.Logging into SyncThru™ Web ServiceBefore configuring options in SyncThru™ Web Service, you need tolog-in as an administrator. You can still use SyncThru™ Web Servicewithout logging in but you won’t have access to Settings tab and Secu-rity tab.1. Click Login on the upper right of the SyncThru™ Web Service web-site.A log-in page appears.2. Type in the ID and Password then click Login.If it’s your first time logging into SyncThru™ Web Service, type in thebelow default ID and password.• ID: admin• Password: sec00000SyncThru™ Web Service overviewSome tabs may not appear depending on your model.Information tabThis tab gives you general information about your machine. You cancheck things, such as the machine’s IP address, remaining amount oftoner, ethernet information, firmware version and more. You can alsoprint reports such as an error report and so on.• Active Alerts: This item allows you to check the alerts occurred inthe machine and their severity.• Supplies: This item allows you to check how many pages areprinted and amount of toner left in the cartridge.• Usage Counters: This item allows you to check the usage count byprint types: simplex, duplex.• Current Settings: This item allows you to check the machine andnetwork information.• Print information: This item allows you to print reports such as sys-tem related reports, e mail address and font reports.Job Management tabYou can only use this option if you have enabled RAM disk orinstalled an optional hard drive disk (HDD).This tab allows you to delete or print jobs stored in the RAM disk or anoptional hard drive disk (HDD). Select the job from the list and click onthe Delete or the Print button.• Active Jobs: You can see the list of jobs in queue.• Completed Jobs: You can see the list of completed jobs. Com-pleted Jobs only appears if you have installed an optional hard drivedisk (HDD).• Stored Print: You can see the list of jobs saved in the RAM disk.• Secured Print: You can see the list of secured jobs that the userhas set in the printer driver. You need to enter the User ID and Pass-word set in the printer driver to delete or print secured jobs.Setting tabThis tab allows you to set configurations provided by your machine andnetwork. You need to log-in as an administrator to view this tab.• Machine Settings tab: This tab allows you to set options providedby your machine.• Network Settings tab: This tab allows you to view and change thenetwork environment. You can set things, such as TCP/IP, networkprotocols and so on.Security tabThis tab allows you to set system and network security information. Youneed to log-in as an administrator to view this tab.• System Security: You can set the system administrator’s informa-tion and also enable or disable machine features.• Network Security: You can set settings for HTTPs, IPSec,IPv4/IPv6 filtering, 802.1x, Authentication servers.• User Access Control: You can set configurations for user accessi-
