12Removing the Battery1. Remove the battery cover. (See “Removing the batterycover” on page 6.)2. Lift the battery up by the slot provided (1).3. Lift the battery up and out of the phone (2).Charging the BatteryYour phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Awall charger, which is used for charging the battery, isincluded with your phone. Use only approved batteries andchargers. Ask your local Samsung dealer for further details.Before using your phone for the first time, you must fullycharge the battery. A discharged battery recharges fully inapproximately 4 hours.Note: Verify that the battery is installed prior to connecting thewall charger. If both the wall charger is connected andthe battery is not installed, the handset will power cyclecontinuously and prevent proper operation.
