52Google Account Privacy SettingsPersonalize the Privacy settings for Google accounts:1. From the Home screen, touch Menu, then touchSettings ➔Accounts.2. Under My accounts, touch Google. The Google accounttype screen appears.3. Under Privacy, the following options are available:• Maps & Latitude: Tailor Location settings for Googleaccounts.• Search: Manage Google accounts location histories andsearch histories.• Location settings: Choose whether Google apps can accesslocation information for Google accounts.• Google+: Manage Google+ information for Google accounts.• Ads: Choose whether to personalize Google and AdMobadvertisements for Google accounts.Managing accounts1. From the Home screen, touch Menu, then touchSettings ➔Accounts.2. Under My accounts, touch the desired account type.The related account type screen appears.3. Under Accounts, touch the desired account ID. TheSync settings screen for the selected account appears.(For more information, refer to “ControllingSynchronization” on page 51.)4. To enable or disable a synchronization setting, touch it.When enabled, a check mark appears in the check box.5. To invoke the enabled synchronization settings for theselected account, touch Sync now.6. To remove the selected account from your phone,touch Remove account.
