2726Call Functions Call FunctionsMaking a Call from the PhonebookYou can store frequently-dialled phone numberswith a name in the SIM card or the phonememory, using the Phonebook. You then simplyselect the required name to recall the associatednumber. For further details on the Phonebookfeatures, refer to page 35.Adjusting the VolumeDuring a call, if you want to adjust the earpiecevolume, use the volume keys on the left side ofthe phone.Press the key to increase and the key todecrease the volume.Answering a CallWhen someone calls you, the phone alerts youby ringing and displaying the following screen:If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phonenumber or name, if stored in your Phonebook, isdisplayed.1. If necessary, open the folder. Press the keyor the Accept soft key to answer the incomingcall.If the Anykey Answer option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 4.8) is checked, youcan press any key to answer a call except forthe key and the Reject soft key (seepage 97).If the Active Folder option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 4.8) is checked, youcan answer the call simply by opening thefolder (see page 97).Note: To reject an incoming call, press and holdthe volume keys on the left side of thephone before opening the folder.2. End the call by closing the folder or pressingthe key.Note: You can answer a call while using thePhonebook or menu features.In the idle mode with the folder open, you canadjust the key volume using the volume keys.Accept Reject
