79Messages78MessagesMemory Status (Menu 1.7)This menu shows how many messages arecurrently stored in the SIM, phone and CBmemories.You can delete all of the messages in eachmessage box using the Delete All option (Menu1.7.4).To Press theselect a message box to Mark soft key.cancel the selection Unmark soft key.delete the items in the Delete soft key.selected message box.If you want to delete all of the messages, selectAll Messages.Voice Mail (Menu 1.8)This menu provides you with a way of accessingyour voice mailbox, if provided by your network.The following options are available:Connect to Voice Server: before using thisfeature, you must enter the Voice servernumber obtained from your service provider (seemenu option 1.8.2). You can then select thisoption and simply press the OK soft key to listento your messages.To quickly connect to the voice server, press andhold down the 1 key in the idle mode.Voice Server: allows you to change the voicemail server number, if necessary.To Press theenter the server correspondingnumber numeric keys.correct a digit C key.move the cursor to or key.the left/right withoutclearing the digitsave the number OK key.Note: Voice Mail is a network feature. Pleasecontact your service provider for moreinformation.Broadcast (Menu 1.9)This network service allows you to receive textmessages on various topics, such as the weatheror traffic. Messages are displayed immediatelythey are received, provided that:• the phone is in the idle mode• the Receive option is set to Enable• the message channel is currently active in thechannel listThe following options are available:Read: lets you view the message. Volatiledisplays the messages from the network, butloses its contents as soon as the phone isswitched off. Scroll through the message byusing the and keys. While reading amessage, press the Save soft key to store themessage in the Archive box for later retrieval.
