115Network Services114Network ServicesCaller ID (Menu 6.5)You can prevent your phone number from beingdisplayed on the phone of the person beingcalled.Note: Some networks do not allow the user tochange this setting.The following options are available:Default: the default setting provided by thenetwork is used.Hide Number: your number is not displayed onthe other person’s phone.Send Number: your number is sent each timeyou make a call.Closed User Group (CUG) (Menu 6.6)This network service allows incoming andoutgoing calls to be restricted to a selected usergroup. You may be a member of up to ten usergroups. For details on how to create, activateand use a closed user group, contact yourservice provider.Example: A company lends SIM cards to itsemployees and wants to restrictoutgoing calls to members of the sameteam.Activating a Closed User GroupIf you select the Closed User Group menu, youcan enter the CUG function. You can now accessthe following options after pressing the Selectsoft key.The following options are available:Index List: lets you list, add or delete CUGindex numbers. The list of current CUG indexesappears.Add a new CUG index as advised by your serviceprovider or delete a selected group.To Press thescroll the through or key.the existing CUGindexesadd a new CUG Options soft key,index select the Add optionand enter the index.delete a CUG Options soft key andindex select the Deleteoption.activate a CUG Options soft key andindex select the Activateoption.Outside Access: lets you enable or disable callsto numbers other than those nominated for theClosed User Group. This feature depends on thenature of your CUG subscription. Please checkwith your service provider.Default Group: you may set a default CUG withyour service provider. If you have done so, youcan enable the Default Group option on yourphone. When making a call, you will be giventhe option of using your default CUG, instead ofselecting one from the list.Deactivate: deactivates the CUG function. Thismenu appears only when the default group isenabled or a CUG index is selected.
