111Network Services110Network ServicesCall Barring (Menu 6.2)The call barring network service allows you torestrict your calls.Call barring can be set up in the following ways:All Outgoing: calls cannot be made.International: international calls cannot bemade.International Except to Home: when abroad,calls can be made only to numbers within thecurrent country and to your home country, thatis the country where your home networkprovider is located.All Incoming: calls cannot be received.Incoming While Abroad: calls cannot bereceived when you are using your phone outsideyour home service area.Cancel All: all call barring settings aredeactivated; calls can be made and receivednormally.You can specify individual barring options foreach of the following call types:• Voice calls only• Data calls onlyTo set your call barring options:1. Select the type of call barring required bypressing the or key and then press theSelect soft key.2. Select the type of calls to be barred bypressing the or key and then press theSelect soft key.3. Press the Activate soft key to confirm yoursettings.4. Enter your call barring password supplied byyour service provider.The phone sends your settings to the networkand the network’s acknowledgement isdisplayed.To deactivate specific call barring settings:1. Select the call barring option to bedeactivated.2. Select the type of call to which this optionapplies.3. Press the Deactivate soft key.4. Enter your call barring password supplied byyour service provider.The phone sends your settings to the networkand the network’s acknowledgement isdisplayed.You can also deactivate all call barring settingsby selecting the Cancel All option.Change Barring Password: you can set andchange the call barring password obtained fromyour service provider using this option. You mustenter the current password before you canspecify a new one.Once you have entered a new password, you areasked to confirm it by entering it again.
