42APPENDIXOPERATING WIRELESS MOUSEINSTALLATIONWireless Remote Control Unit is not only able to operate this projector but also usable as a wireless mouse for mostPersonal Computers. POINT buttons and two CLICK buttons are used for wireless mouse operation.This Wireless Mouse function is available only when PC mouse pointer is displayed on a projected screen. When ON-SCREEN MENU or any message / dialog box is displayed on screen instead of PC mouse pointer, this Wireless Mousefunction cannot be used.Connect mouse port (or USB port) of your computer to ControlPort (or USB connector) of this projector with Control Cable (orUSB cable). (Refer to page 13, 14 for connection.)Turn a projector on first, and then turn on your computer. Whencomputer is switched on first, Wireless Mouse may not workproperly.12To use Wireless Remote Control Unit as Wireless Mouse for a Personal Computer, installation of mouse driver (not supplied)is required. Make sure that mouse driver is properly installed in your computer. And make sure that mouse port (or USBport) of a Personal Computer is activated.OPERATING WIRELESS MOUSEWhen controlling a PC mouse pointer, operate Wireless Mouse with POINT button, SELECT button, and RIGHT CLICKbutton on Wireless Remote Control Unit.Used to move PC mouse pointer. Pointer is moved correspondingwith direction you are pressing.POINT buttonThis button has same function as left button in a PC mouse.SELECT (LEFT CLICK) buttonThis button has same function as right button in a PC mouse. Thisbutton is not available for controlling this projector.RIGHT CLICK buttonNote : When your computer has no mouseport, connect Serial Port of yourcomputer to Control Port of a projectorwith Control Cable for Serial Port (notsupplied).POINT button (Move pointer)SELECT button(left button of mouse)RIGHT CLICK button(right button of mouse)MAINTENANCEWARNING TEMP. INDICATORWARNING TEMP. Indicator flashes red and projector is automatically turned off when an internal temperature of a projectorexceeds normal temperature. Wait at least 5 minutes before turning on projector again.When WARNING TEMP. Indicator continues to flash, check items listed below.Ventilation Slots of a projector may be blocked. In such an event, reposition a projector so that Ventilation Slots arenot obstructed.Air Filter may be clogged with dust particles. Clean Air Filter by following section AIR FILTER CARE AND CLEANINGon next page.12If WARNING TEMP. Indicator remains on after performing above checks, Cooling Fans or Internal Circuits may bemalfunctioning. Contact service personnel from an authorized dealer or a service station.3
