The POWER indicator lights red. Open the lenscap (see pages 9, 64).Press the ON/STAND-BY button on the top control oron the remote control. The POWER indicator lightsgreen and the cooling fans start to operate. Thepreparation display appears on the screen and thecount down starts.314 After the countdown, the input source that was selectedthe last time and the lamp control status icon (see page56) appear on the screen.Complete peripheral connections (with a computer,VCR, etc.) before turning on the projector.Selected Input Source and Lamp ControlPNote:The Filter warning and Lamp replacement iconsmay appear on the screen depending on theusage state of the projector.Basic Operation16Lamp control statusPNote:• When the Logo select function is set to Off, the logo willnot be shown on the screen (p.48).• When Countdown off or Off is selected in the Displayfunction, the countdown will not be shown on the screen(p.47).• When the Input Search function is set to On, the inputsignal will be searched automatically (p.46).• When Off is selected in the Display function, the Video/PC selection window and the input signal guidancewindow are not shown on the screen (p.47).5 If there is no signal input when start on the projector,or the current signal is missed while operating theprojector, the Video/PC selection window will bedisplayed on the screen, please move the pointer toinput source desired by pressing the Point Ÿź buttonsand press the SELECT button.
