The POWERindicator becomes green and the cooling fans startto operate. Press theSELECT button so that you can start to operate theprojector.If you entered an incorrect PIN code, "PIN code" andthe number (✳✳✳✳) turns red. Enter the correct PINcode all over again.What is PIN code?PIN (Personal Identification Number) code that allowsthe person who knows it to operate the projector.Setting a PIN code prevents unauthorized use of theprojector.A PIN code consists of a four-digit number. Refer to thePIN code lock function in the Setting on pages 49 and50 for locking operation of the projector with your PINcode.CAUTION ON HANDLING PIN CODEIf you forget your PIN code, the projector can no longerbe started. Set a new PIN code with special care,write it down in column on page 66 of this manual, andkeep it at hand.
