77 EnglishPLAYBACK - ADVANCED OPERATIONDELETING IMAGE AND AUDIO FILESCAUTIONDeleting permanently erases the file. Once deleted, a file cannot berecovered. Care should be taken when deleting images.Single, multiple, or all files on the card can be deleted in section 1 of theplayback menu (page 75). Files must be unlocked before they can be deleted(page 79). The delete option has four settings:This frame: The file displayed or highlighted in playback mode isdeleted.Audio track: The voice-memo or audio caption attached to the displayedor highlighted image is deleted.All frames: All unlocked files are deleted.MarkedFrames: To delete multiple files. When this setting is chosen, theframe-selection screen is displayed (page 75). Use the left/right keys of the controller to highlight the first file to bedeleted. Pressing the up key marks the thumbnail with thetrash can indicator. To deselect a file for deletion, highlightit with the yellow border and press the down key; the trashcan indicator disappears. Continue until all the files to bedeleted are marked. Press the center button of thecontroller to continue (a confirmation screen appears), orpress the menu button to cancel the operation and returnto the playback menu.Before a file is deleted, a confirmationscreen appears.
