Therefore,the track becomes shorter.The following parameters are used in this operation.• CUT TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8, ALL)• IN/OUTSILENCE (part erase)This function cuts (deletes) the audio data between the IN andOUT points on the selected track, leaving silence between the INand OUT points, as though there had been no recording.This operation does not change the length of the track.The following parameters are used in this operation.• SILENCE TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8)• IN/OUTTIPUsing this function, you can delete short noises, for example.CLONE track (track duplication)Use this function to duplicate a single track, a track pair or thestereo master track on a different track or track pair. Each track iscopied entirely, so the IN/OUT/TO points have no effect.The following parameters are used in this operation.• SOURCE TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8,1-8, MST)• DESTINATION TRKNOTEIf you choose the same track for both the SOURCE TRK andthe DESTINATION TRK and press the F2 (EXEC) button, theSame Track message appears and the operation is notexecuted.CLEAN out (track erase)Use this function to completely erase the selected track.
