In CD Menumode, the CD indicator light flashes, CD menu optionsare indicated on the display, and settings can beperformed.NOTEIf the• CD MENU button is pressed when the displaymaster is MD, the MD indicator stays lit, while the CDindicator flashes.If the• CD MENU button is pressed when the displaymaster is CD (CD indicator ON), the CD indicator willbegin flashing.o PITCH Control/IndicatorPush this control to turn the pitch control function onor off. When it is on, the indicator lights up, and pitchcan be adjusted between –50% and +16% by turningthe control. Even when the power is turned off, thepitch control ON/OFF setting is retained.p STOP (ª) buttonDuring CD playback, press this button to stopplayback. When this button is pressed duringdubbing operation, both the MD and CD decks stopsimultaneously.a PLAY (Á) buttonPress this button to start CD playback when the CDdeck is in stop or standby mode.When this button is pressed during dubbing standbymode, the CD deck starts playback, the MD deck startsrecording, and dubbing begins.s READY (π) buttonWhen this button is pressed during playback or whilestopped, the CD deck enters standby mode.d OPEN/CLOSE (ø) buttonPress this button to open or close the CD tray.4 – Names and Functions of Parts
