Refer to section Articulation JointLockarm for information.When transporting the machine, place blocks in front of and behindeach drum and use the front and rear tie-down points (a) provided tosecurely fasten the machine to the trailer (two places). Secure themachine by attaching steel ropes or chains to the tie down points (a).Note: The transmission is normally braked when the engine is off, orwhen the hydraulic system is not functioning, unless there is a faultand/or the parking brakes have been manually disabled.NOTICE: Do not position ropes or chains across the machine frame orthe articulated joint when tying down the machine. Damage to themachine may occur.NOTICE: Do not use complete deflection of shock mounts when tyingdown the machine.
