Assembly Instructions H24d22Deck SupportArmsRubber DebrisGuardMower Deck Installation2. First, engage the LH deck carrier frame tubesocket on the LH tractor support arm and thenthe RH arm into the RH tube socket. Slide thedeck onto the support arms and install lynchpins to secure deck. Two (2) lynch pins areincluded in Owner’s Packet of materials.WARNINGFailure to install the lynch pins will result inthe deck disconnecting from the tractorduring operation.3. Retract the spring-loaded quick disconnectring on the PTO Coupler and insert the Cou-pler Installation Tool (provided in Owner’sPacket) as shown in the PTO Coupler Instal-lation Tool photo.NOTE: The Coupler Installation Tool is pro-vided for convenience, but is not required forinstallation.CouplerInstallation ToolRetract Spring-LoadedQuick Disconnect RingPTO CouplerTubePTO Coupler Installation Tool4. Unhook lower edge of rubber debris guard andraise for access to the tractor PTO shaft. Re-fer to Mower Deck Installation photo forlocation of debris guard.AlignArrowsCouplerInstallation ToolTractorPTO ShaftPTO Shaft Connection(Shown with Debris Guard Removed for Clarity)5. Reaching under the tractor, slide the PTOcoupler tube onto the deck drive shaft (alignarrow decals), then install the coupler quickdisconnect onto the tractor PTO drive shaft.Refer to the PTO Shaft Connection photo.6. Remove Coupler Installation Tool from thequick disconnect ring and make sure the ringhas “snapped” securely on the spline shaft.Coupler Installation Tool Removal(Shown with Debris Guard Removed for Clarity)IMPORTANT: DO NOT operate tractor withCoupler Installation Tool installed.
