Operating Instructions H24d32Circuit BreakersTwo manual reset circuit breakers are located onthe front body. Each has a button that pops out ifthe circuit breaker trips. The 10 amp circuit break-er protects the safety and ignition circuits. The 7amp protects the indicator lamps and hourmeter.Glow Plug Activation LightThe glow plug activation light indicates the glowplugs are operating (preheating).Battery/Charge Malfunction LightThe charge light indicates the electric system is notbeing charged.Oil Pressure Warning Light/HornThe oil pressure warning light and horn signalindicate that engine oil pressure is below the safeoperating level [below 7 PSI (48 kPa)]. This light(and warning horn) will come on when the ignitionis turned ON, but should go off after the engine isstarted. If the light fails to come on when the igni-tion switch is turned ON, it could indicate a burnedout bulb, or the inline 7 amp circuit breaker couldalso be tripped. If the light comes on during engineoperation, stop the engine immediately and correctthe source of the problem before further engineoperation.IMPORTANT: Continued operation of the enginewith an illuminated oil pressure warning light MAYcause severe engine damage (if a low oil pressurecondition exists).Water Temperature Warning Light/HornThe water temperature warning light and hornsignal indicate that engine coolant temperature isabove the safe operating limit and the engine isoverheating. If this light comes on, there may bea problem with:● Radiator cooling air flow (material packed intoradiator cooling fins, clogged air intake screen)● Electric Radiator Fan not operating properly● Low coolant quantity in cooling system● Thermostat function● Coolant pumpStop the engine and correct the source of theproblem before further operation.IMPORTANT: Continued operation of the enginewith an illuminated water temperature warning lightMAY result in severe engine damage.Circuit Breakers, Glow Plug Activation Light and Engine Warning Lights/HornGlow PlugActivation LightBattery/ChargeMalfunction LightOil PressureWarning LightWater TemperatureWarning LightCircuitBreakersWarningHorn
