Ensure that the AC power adapter is fully seatedinto the 5VDC Power Supply. For details, refer to theWireless Print Solutions Adapter Installation Guidesupplied with the device, or available atwww.xerox.com/office/WPSAdocs .2. Ensure that the power adapter is plugged into a100–240 VAC outlet.3. Ensure that the barrel connector is seated properlyinto the WPSA.WPSA Does not acquire an IP address from the network.Probable Cause SolutionThe adapter is not connected to the access point. Ensure that the adapter connects properly to theaccess point. For details, see Installing the WirelessPrint Solutions Adapter on page 16.Connectivity to the gateway server is interrupted. Use Ping or Traceroute to check the gateway server.For details, see Ping on page 33.The wireless access point connects to managedswitches that use Spanning Tree protocol butprotocols that manage DHCP issues are notenabled.Ensure that PortFast for Cisco, FastLink for Netgear,or Edge Mode for Adtran are enabled on thenetwork.DHCP is not enabled on the network or it ismalfunctioning.Configure a static IP address.
