ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM)4-58CAUTION:ECA14810• Check that the brake lever returns to itshome position before the brake pedalreturns to its home position.• If the brake pedal returns to its homeposition before the brake lever does,check that the brake hoses are connectedcorrectly to the hydraulic unit.• If either the brake lever or brake pedalreturns its home position slowly, checkthat the brake hoses are connected cor-rectly to the hydraulic unit.• If the operation of the hydraulic unit is nor-mal, delete all of the malfunction codes.Hydraulic unit operation test 2WARNINGEWA13120Securely support the vehicle so that thereis no danger of it falling over.1. Place the vehicle on the centerstand.2. Set the main switch to “OFF”.3. Remove:• SeatRefer to "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-1.• Fuel tankRefer to "FUEL TANK" on page 7-1.4. Check:• Battery voltageLower than 12.8 V → Charge or replace thebattery.NOTE:• If the battery voltage is lower than 12.8 V,charge the battery and perform hydraulic unitoperation test 1.• If the battery voltage is lower than 10 V, theABS warning light comes on and the ABSdoes not operate.5.
