Hold the rear of the top cowling with onehand and tilt the engine up fully.6. Push the tilt support knob into the clampbracket. Or the tilt support bar will turn tothe lock position automatically.NOTICE: Do not use the tilt supportlever or knob when trailering theboat. The outboard motor couldshake loose from the tilt support andfall. If the motor cannot be trailered inthe normal running position, use anadditional support device to secure itin the tilt position.
