Wipe up anyspilled fuel immediately. The fuel filter must be reassembledcarefully with the O-ring, filter cup, andhoses in place. Improper assembly orreplacement could result in a fuel leak,which could result in a fire or explosionhazard.EMU29961Cleaning fuel filter1. Loosen the filter cup ring nut.2. Remove the filter cup, catching anyspilled fuel in a rag.3. Remove the filter element, and wash it insolvent. Allow it to dry. Inspect the filter el-ement and O-ring to make sure they arein good condition. Replace them if neces-sary.
