Left footrest boardRefer to “FOOTREST BOARDS”.2.Remove: Plastic band 1 Coolant reservoir bolts 2 Coolant reservoir cap 33.Disconnect: Coolant reservoir breather hose 44.Drain: Coolant(from the coolant reservoir)5.Connect: Coolant reservoir breather hose6.Install: Coolant reservoir bolts Plastic band7.Remove: Radiator cap 1WARNINGA hot radiator is under pressure. Therefore,do not remove the radiator cap when theengine is hot. Scalding hot fluid and steammay be blown out, which could causeserious injury. When the engine hascooled, open the radiator cap as follows:Place a thick rag or a towel over theradiator cap and slowly turn the radiatorcap counterclockwise toward the detent toallow any residual pressure to escape.When the hissing sound has stopped, turnthe radiator cap counterclockwise whilepressing down on it and then remove it.
