Always let the exhaust system coolbefore performing this operation. Do not start the engine when removingthe tailpipe from the muffler. Remove the bolts 1. Remove the tailpipe 2 by pulling it out of themuffler. Tap the tailpipe lightly with a soft-facehammer or suitable tool, then use a wirebrush to remove any carbon deposits fromthe spark arrester portion of the tailpipe andthe inner contact surfaces of the muffler. Insert the tailpipe 2 into the muffler andalign the bolt holes. Insert the bolts 1 and tighten it.*****************************************************
