If the set pin is notused, the power valve constituent parts willresult in damage.TIP• Set the set pin “3” included in owner’s tool kit toremove the push rod bolt.• Do not forget to remove the set pin.2. Remove:• Piston pin clip “1”TIPBefore removing the piston pin clip, cover thecrankcase opening with a clean rag to preventthe piston pin clip from falling into the crankcase.2. Remove:• Piston pin “1”• Piston “2”• Small end bearingNOTICEECA13810Do not use a hammer to drive the piston pinout.TIPBefore removing the piston pin, deburr the pis-ton pin clip’s groove and the piston’s pin bore ar-ea. If both areas are deburred and the piston pinis still difficult to remove, remove it with the pis-ton pin puller set “3”.3.
