Continue pushing the engine stopswitch till the engine comes to a stop.EAM30185SHIFT PEDALThe shift pedal “1” has adopted a method of 1down & 4 ups (press-down & kick-ups).Press it down for N (neutral) to 1st, and kick it upfor 2nd to 5th.EAM30186KICKSTARTER LEVERRotate the kickstarter lever “1” away from the en-gine. Push the starter down lightly with your footuntil the gears engage, then kick smoothly andforcefully to start the engine. This model has aprimary kickstarter lever so the engine can bestarted in any gear if the clutch is disengaged. Innormal practices, however, shift to neutral be-fore starting.EAM30188FRONT BRAKE LEVERThe front brake lever “1” is located on the righthandlebar. Pull it toward the handlebar to acti-vate the front brake.EAM30189REAR BRAKE PEDALThe rear brake pedal “1” is in the right of thechassis. Press down on the brake pedal to acti-vate the rear brake.EAM30619FUEL COCKThe fuel cock supplies fuel from the tank to car-buretor and also filters the fuel. The fuel cockhas the three positions:OFF:With the lever in this position, fuel will not flow.Always return the lever to this position when theengine is not running.ON:With the lever in this position, fuel flows to thecarburetor.
