This willreturn all configuration information, including pass-words, to the initial values.In the case where no-one knows a password for asecurity level user, contact your supplier.Using the SwitchYou see network problems and the Packet LEDis on continuously with constant collisions(viewed using the Port Traffic Statistics screen,refer to “Port Traffic Statistics” on page 6-4):You are using PACE equipped devices and have theInteractive Access feature of PACE enabled at bothends of the link. Interactive Access must only beenabled at one end of the Switch-device link. Dis-abling Interactive Access for a Switch port asdescribed in “Setting Up the Switch Ports” on page4-12.You have configured a Switch port so that it‘blips’ when a broadcast storm occurs, but theport does not blip properly:The broadcast storms are occurring such that theaverage broadcast bandwidth cannot drop belowthe Falling Threshold value. This means that theblip only occurs once.Try changing the following attributes in the Broad-cast Storm Control section of the Port Setup screen:n Rising Action to disable port/notify.n Falling Action to event + enable.For more information, refer to “Setting Up theSwitch Ports” on page 4-12.
