As you make configuration changes, thenew settings are stored in run-time memory. Settings that are stored inrun-time memory are not retained by the Switch when the Switch isrebooted. In order to retain the settings, and have them be loadedwhen you reboot the Switch, you must save the configuration tonon-volatile storage.The Switch 3800 can store two different configurations; a primary anda secondary. When you save configuration changes, you can selectwhich configuration you want the changes saved to. If you do notspecify, the changes are saved to the current configuration area.If you have made a mistake, or have the need to go back to theconfiguration as it was before you started making changes, you can tellthe Switch to use the unchanged configuration on the next reboot.To save the configuration, use the following command:save config {primary | secondary}
