AXIS 2460 User’s Manual Installing the AXIS 2460 Network DVR 17Step 3 - Verifying the Connection and Completing the InstallationHaving started your Dial-Up connection, as described above, you can quickly test theconnection by accessing the AXIS 2460 from your browser (Internet Explorer).The cameras will be shown as disabled or there will be No connection. See Connecting andConfiguring Cameras on page 18 for information on how to enable cameras.❺After clicking Finish in the NetworkConnection Wizard, the Dial-up dialogopens. Click Properties.❻Select the installed modem andclick Configure.❽Finally, enter the default Username Root and the passwordpass. Click Dial.❼Set the Maximum Speed to 115200bps.
