AXIS 2460 User’s Manual Setting up Events and Alarms 25Note that this is the desired frame rate. The actual frame rate will depend on the number ofenabled cameras and if these cameras are synchronized or not. When using more than onecamera, the frame rate for each camera can be calculated by dividing the frame rate for 1camera by the number of cameras used. The table shown above features examples of thetheoretical frame rates for 1 and 4 cameras, using synchronized cameras. To get the framerates for 2 or 3 cameras, divide the frequency for 1 camera by 2 or 3, respectively.Record from Camera - Select the cameras that the event will record from. The event canrecord on all 4 cameras if necessary. Note that using e.g. 2 cameras will create 2 recordingseach time the event is activated.Time Period SettingsThis section will only be displayed if the Event Type is set as During Time Period or asAlarm Triggered During Time Period. To configure, specify the days of the week the eventwill be active, by checking the appropriate boxes. Set the start time and stop time in thefields provided. Please note that these settings will be valid every week until the event ischanged or disabled.Recording will begin at the Start Time and will continue up to and including the StopTime on the days selected. For example, recording from 08:00 until 08:00 will produce a 1minute recording, and recording from 08:00 until 08:59 will produce a 60 minuterecording.Events must be set to start and stop on the same day, It is not possible in a single event torecord from e.g. 18:00 to 06:00 on the following day. If this type of configuration isrequired, two separate events must be used, one from 18:00 until 23:59 on the first day andthe other from 00:00 until 5:59 for the following day.Alarm Input SettingsThis section will only be displayed if the Event Type is set as When Alarm is Triggered orAlarm Triggered During Time Period. Specify for each configured and enabled alarm howand when the event should react to the alarms.Note: Before the event will record, the conditions for ALL of the configured alarm inputsmust first be met. Unless a Recording Duration has been specified, recording willstop as soon as any of these conditions ceases to be valid. The options for how the events will react are:• Active - the event will react to the alarm when it has been triggered.• Inactive - this alarm input must be inactive, that is, it must not have been triggered.• ----- - this alarm will not affect the event.
