To change the Subnet Mask from its default value,perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the Subnet Mask field.2. Enter the Subnet Mask using Dotted Decimal Notation (DDN) format. Values for each decimalcan be from 0 to 255.For example: 255.255.0.03. Press ENTER. If the Subnet Mask entered was a valid format, the cursor returns to thebeginning of the Subnet Mask field. If the entry was not valid, the Event Message field displays“INVALID SUBNET MASK OR FORMAT ENTERED”. Local Management does not alterthe current value and refreshes the Subnet Mask field with the previous value.4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command field.5. Press ENTER. The Event Message field at the top of the screen displays “SAVED OK”.Setting the Default InterfaceTo set the default interface, perform the following steps:1.
