This includes any garage door openermodel manufactured before April 1, 1982.Read the instructions completely before attempting toprogram the Universal Home Remote. Because ofthe steps involved, it may be helpful to have anotherperson available to assist you in the programmingthe Universal Home Remote.Keep the original hand-held transmitter for use in othervehicles as well as for future Universal Home Remoteprogramming.
