This pedestrian icon is alsoshown on the Head-Up Display(HUD). When the system detectsthe vehicle is approaching apedestrian much too quickly, theamber box turns red, and a redflashing icon, ~, displays on theHUD with rapid beeping or pulsingof the Safety Alert Seat, if equipped.System pedestrian icons, beeps,and (if equipped) Safety Alert Seatpulses can be set to Off throughvehicle personalization by turningoff the Front Pedestrian Brakingsystem.
