Inside the centre consolestorage in front of the armrestcover.. Inside the storage area underthe armrest cover.. On the rear of the centreconsole, if equipped.These outlets are powered while thevehicle is in ON/RUN/START orACC/ACCESSORY mode, or untilthe driver door is opened within10 minutes of turning off the vehicle.Lift the cover to access theaccessory power outlet.Certain electrical accessories maynot be compatible with theaccessory power outlet and couldoverload a vehicle circuit breaker oradapter fuse. If overloaded, thecircuit breaker will reset after alldevices are disconnected or ifRetained Accessory Power (RAP) isturned off and then back on. SeeRetained Accessory Power (RAP)on page 9-16. Wait one minute toallow the circuit breaker to resetbefore reconnecting devices orturning RAP back on. If the problemcontinues, the issue could be withinyour device. Try another knowngood device to make sure the circuitbreaker is operating properly. If thisdoes not resolve your problem, seeyour dealer.It is possible to replace the factorypower outlet with a cigar lighterreceptacle, if desired. This requiresthe factory installed circuit breakerto be replaced with a standardminifuse by the dealer. A minifusewill not reset and will have to bereplace if blown.{ CautionFailure to replace the circuitbreaker with the minifuse couldoverheat the cigar lighter anddamage the vehicle.When adding electrical equipment,ensure that you follow the properinstallation instructions included withthe equipment. See Add-OnElectrical Equipment on page 9-66.
