To help avoid injuries to youand others, read and followall the instructions on the fuelpump island.. Turn off the engine whenrefuelling.. Keep sparks, flames, andsmoking materials awayfrom fuel.. Do not leave the fuel pumpunattended.. Do not reenter the vehiclewhile pumping fuel.. Keep children away from thefuel pump and never letchildren pump fuel.(Continued)Warning (Continued). Fuel can spray out if therefuelling nozzle is insertedtoo quickly. This spray canhappen if the tank is nearlyfull, and is more likely in hotweather. Insert the refuellingnozzle slowly and wait forany hiss noise to stop prior tobeginning to flow fuelTo open the fuel filler flap, push andrelease the rearward centre edge ofthe flap. If equipped, the fuel door islocked when the vehicle doors arelocked. Press K on the RKEtransmitter to unlock.The vehicle has a capless refuellingsystem and does not have a fuelcap. The filling nozzle must be fullyinserted and latched prior to startingfuel flow.Be careful not to spill fuel. Do nottop off or overfill the tank and wait afew seconds before removing thenozzle. After initial shutoff, do notpartially remove the nozzle to addmore fuel as this will result in fuelspillage. Clean fuel from paintedsurfaces as soon as possible.
