See Ignition Positionson page 9-13. After about30 seconds the exterior lamps turnoff, then the dome and remaininginterior lamps dim to off. Entrylighting can be disabled manually bychanging the ignition out of the OFFposition, or by pressing Q on theRKE transmitter.This feature can be turned on or off.See “Vehicle Locator Lights” underVehicle Personalisation onpage 5-47.Exit LightingThe headlamps, tail lamps, parkinglamps, outside mirror lamps,number plate lamps, and exteriordoor handle lamps come on atnight, or in areas with limitedlighting, when the driver door isopened after the ignition is turnedoff. The dome lamp comes on afterthe ignition is changed to the OFFposition. The exterior lamps andinterior light remain on for a setamount of time, then automaticallyturn off.The exterior lamps turn offimmediately by turning the exteriorlamp control off.This feature can be changed. SeeVehicle Personalisation onpage 5-47.Battery LoadManagementThe vehicle has Electric PowerManagement (EPM), whichestimates the battery's temperatureand state of charge. It then adjuststhe voltage for best performanceand extended life of the battery.
